How prices are collected
Where do the prices on MySupplier come from?
Every listing is labelled with where it came from:
- Suppliers publish prices from their dashboard, a CSV or a catalogue feed.
- AI-read documents — suppliers upload a PDF, Excel sheet, photo or pasted text; our AI extracts the rows and matches them to the catalogue, and the supplier approves them before they go live.
- Quotations from buyers — contractors upload quotes they actually received; these appear as Quoted prices attributed to the supplier, with the buyer kept anonymous.
- Market feeds — published price lists and supplier web pages collected automatically, reviewed by our team and shown as Market reference prices.
- Weekly update links — suppliers with ageing prices get a one-click link to refresh them in two minutes, no login needed.
Only supplier listings can be ordered; quoted, imported and market prices are for benchmarking.
How often are prices updated?
Suppliers update prices in real time; automated feeds run daily. Every listing shows its last-updated date, and the price index on the home page tracks 30-day movement per category.
Do prices include VAT and delivery?
Listed prices exclude VAT unless stated. VAT at 15% and the supplier’s delivery fee for your city are added at checkout and shown before you confirm.
What does the BOQ pricing tool do?
Paste your bill of quantities and we match each line to catalogue items, price it against every supplier in your city and show the cheapest total, the best single supplier and where to buy each line. No sign-up needed; you can send the result as an RFQ in one click.
How bidding works
What is an RFQ?
A request for quotation: your list of items, quantities, delivery city and date. Suppliers in your region are notified and submit itemised bids until the closing date you set.
How do I compare and accept bids?
Open the RFQ to see bids side by side — unit prices, total, lead time and validity. Accepting a bid creates an order, rejects the others and notifies the supplier. You can cancel the order while it is still Pending.
Can a supplier change a bid?
Yes, until the RFQ closes — re-submitting replaces the previous bid. Once accepted, a bid is binding for both sides.
Do suppliers see each other’s bids?
No. Suppliers see only their own bid; the buyer sees all bids.
VAT and invoices
Is VAT charged?
Yes — Saudi VAT at the statutory rate of 15% is added to every order and itemised on the invoice.
Will I get a tax invoice?
Every order has a simplified tax invoice compliant with ZATCA e-invoicing (phase 1), including the QR code, the seller’s VAT number and the VAT breakdown. Open it from the order page with View invoice and print or save it as PDF.
Can I get an invoice in my company’s name?
Invoices show the buyer name and company on your account. Update them on the Account page before ordering, or contact support to amend an issued invoice via credit note.
Delivery
Who delivers?
The supplier you order from, using its own fleet or a contracted carrier. Lead times and delivery fees are shown per supplier before checkout.
How is delivery priced?
Once you choose a delivery city in the cart or at checkout we quote every carrier that serves the route — the supplier’s own fleet, heavy-trucking partners such as Trukker and Trella for steel, cement and aggregates, and parcel couriers such as SMSA and Aramex for small items.
Each quote is calculated from the carrier’s rate card for the zone (same city, same region or national), the total weight and volume of your items, and any minimum fee. The cheapest option is pre-selected per supplier; open Other options at checkout to pick a faster carrier. The price you choose becomes that order’s delivery fee and appears on the invoice. If no carrier covers the route, the supplier delivers at its standard fee (“Delivery by supplier”).
After dispatch the order page shows the carrier, tracking number and a live status timeline (booked → picked up → in transit → out for delivery → delivered).
Can I track my order?
Yes — the order page shows Pending → Confirmed → In transit → Delivered, and you receive an email and in-app notification at each step.
What if goods arrive damaged or short?
Note it on the delivery note and report within 48 hours from the order page. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Payments
Which payment methods are available?
Cash on delivery, bank transfer and — where enabled — card payments (mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay) processed securely by Moyasar. Card details never touch our servers.
How do bank transfers work?
Choose bank transfer at checkout; the bank details and your order reference appear on the order page and invoice. Quote the reference in the transfer so the supplier can confirm quickly.
Can I pay by card later?
Yes. Any unpaid card order has a Pay now button on its order page.
When am I charged?
Card payments are captured immediately when the payment succeeds; you will see a confirmation page and the order is marked Paid.
Can I pay by card and get a refund?
Yes. Card payments (mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay) are processed by Moyasar, and refunds go back to the same card. The supplier — or MySupplier support — issues the refund from the order page with a reason; the order is then marked Refunded, the refund appears in the order’s payment history and you are notified by email and in the app.
Card refunds usually show on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Orders paid by bank transfer or cash on delivery are refunded by bank transfer to the account you provide, and the refund is recorded on the order in the same way. Eligibility and timelines are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Becoming a supplier
How do I list my products?
Register as a supplier with your CR number, then add prices one by one, upload a CSV or connect a catalogue feed from your dashboard.
What does “Verified” mean?
We checked the supplier’s Commercial Registration and VAT registration and confirmed its trading contact. Verified suppliers rank higher and can be filtered by buyers.
What does it cost?
Listing prices and receiving RFQs is free. Fees, if any, are set out in your supplier agreement and invoiced separately, exclusive of VAT.
